SPAIN: Farmec opened in Barcelona its first store in Spain | Progresiv
The Spanish partner of Romanian cosmetics manufacturer Farmec, Mercatrom Alimentacion, has recently inaugurated the first Farmec brand store in Spain, in Barcelona. This is the third center opened abroad this year by Farmec after in spring were opened stores in France and Greece. 
The store is located on Carrer Provença, in a central location with intense pedestrian traffic, according to company officials and keeps the unitary concept of all other Farmec brand stores.
Farmec’s first store abroad was opened in 2003 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. As of 2013 the company has a brand store in Budapest as well, in a historic building in the Corvin area, and last year two more centers were opened in Greece, in Thessaloniki and Katerini. In Romania, Farmec has six stores in Cluj-Napoca, Arad, Timisoara and Targu Mures.
