SLOVENIA: Frutarom acquires Slovenian extracts manufacturer | Progresiv
Frutarom Health has expanded its offering of natural pharmaceutical ingredients with the acquisition of Slovenian company Vitiva, including a GMP-certified plant in Markovci, in the east of the country. 
Vitiva develops botanical extracts covering important categories for traditional herbal medicinal products such as passion flower and valerian, lemon balm, and bearberry.
Frutarom Health general manager Holger Riemensperger said: “Vitiva’s natural ingredients are produced in the Slovenian GMP-certified facility, with an Active Substance Master File documentation, and are a perfect match for the current portfolio of Frutarom’s natural pharma-grade extracts.
