ROMANIA: Pall-Ex to open a new regional hub with a 400,000 euros investment | Progresiv
Logistics and transport company Pall-Ex will open a new regional hub this fall, in Cluj-Napoca, following an investment of 400,000 euros. It will be the fourth such center after the ones in Bucharest, Bacau and Sibiu, and will mainly serve customers in the Transylvania region. 
Recently, Pall-Ex celebrated the transportation of the pallet with number 400,000, also reporting for the first 6 months of the year a 65% increase in freight volume traded compared to the same period last year.
Currently, Pall-Ex Romania has a total network of 28 warehouses.
Founded in 1996, Pall-Ex network has become one of the European leaders in logistics, being a new concept for central and eastern Europe. In the UK ten such networks operate, nine in Germany, four in Italy and Spain and seven in France. Pall-Ex is on the rise in business volumes, both in the UK and in mainland Europe, today totalling 327 members, with a volume of about 3 million pallets per year.
Since 2011, Pall-Ex also operates in Romania. The Pall-Ex model allows the formation of a network of transporters and local distributors that offer a delivery service in 24 hours for palletized goods, throughout the country.
