In August, the large food retail chains opened a total of 18 new stores, maintaining the pace of expansion recorded in July. The month’s novelty in modern retail was the launch of Profi Loco store concept for rural areas, with the reopening of 11 units previously operated under the Mini-Profi trial-banner.
In addition to this launch, Profi maintained its pace of expansion from July, opening 11 new units in August and reaching a total of 334 locations.
