PepsiCo Romania to extend its storage capacity in the Capital area by 27.000 sqm | Progresiv
PepsiCo Romania recently signed two storage lease deals totaling 27,000 square meters, located in the logistics parks of CTP Romania and Helios Phoenix Group, according to information provided by Dunwell - the brokerage agency specializing in the industrial segment of the real estate market.
"The first transaction brokered by Dunwell relates to the 10,000 sq m extension of the Pepsi warehouse in the CTPark Bucharest logistics park, located at Km 13 of the A1 highway. This is a space in a new building, whose construction ended in October. The building was built according to CTP standards, the largest developer and long-term administrator of premium industrial and logistics parks in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe", the real estate broker said.
In the western area of Bucharest, near the A1 highway, PepsiCo owns a refreshment facility inaugurated in 2009 with a 150 million dollars investment. At the inauguration, this was Pepsi's largest production unit in Europe.
The second transaction was to rent a space of 17,000 sqm of the Olympian Park East Bucharest logistics park in Popesti-Leordeni, a project owned by Helios Phoenix Group. The building under construction is scheduled for delivery in March next year. This will serve the snacks division of the PepsiCo Romania producer, whose factory is located in the same area (South) of Bucharest.
