MOL Romania: Fresh Corner will be available in the entire chain by mid-2019 | Progresiv
MOL Romania has set itself the goal of implementing the Fresh Corner retail and gastro concept throughout its gas station chain by mid-2019. At present, Fresh Corner has reached 123 - over half of the 218 MOL units in Romania. At the same time, the retailer continues the expansion process, looking for new locations to open gas stations. 
Also, the first image campaign for the Fresh Corner brand was launched in the presence of Eduárd Novák (photo right), the only cycling paralympic champion of Romania, Fresh Corner Ambassador in Romania. This will take place in the coming months on TV, radio, online, Outdoor and at points of sale.
The company's representatives have not communicated the amount of planned investments for this year. In 2017, the Mol Romania budget was between 10-15 million euros, being dedicated to local investments, including the expansion of Fresh Corner stations - according to the information previously communicated by the company.
The new concept has been implemented in Romania since 2015. It gives higher importance to the gastronomic area, the coffee prepared in the gas stations and home shopping - fresh bakery products and consumer goods - in a completely refurbished space. So far, it has been implemented in 600 gas stations in Romania and 7 other markets in Central and Eastern Europe.
