L'Oréal Romania opens its first own store in Timisoara | Progresiv
L'Oréal Romania, the second most important player in the local cosmetics industry, reaches a chain of 12 own stores with the opening of a Kiehl's location in Timisoara.
The sixth Kiehl's store in the chain is located in Iulius Mall in Timisoara. The decision to open this location was taken as a result of the positive results and feedback received by the pop-up store that operated last summer in Timisoara.
L'Oréal Romania entered the monobrand stores market in May 2015, opening Kiehl's in AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping center. The company currently manages 12 stores (6 under the Kiehl's banner and 6 under the NYX banner) in Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta and Iasi.
The manufacturer has a 21-year history on the local market, being one of the most important players on the cosmetics market alongside Avon and Beiersdorf. L'Oréal Romania ended last year with a turnover of 369.5 million lei, up by 17% compared to 2016, respectively a net profit of 33.9 million lei.
