Lidl Poland eCommerce site is in beta testing | Progresiv
Local media portal wiadomoscihandlowe.pl reports that the lidl-shop.pl online store is already in a test phase. The company is also actively recruiting eCommerce-facing employees for its Polish operation. Last week, users entering this domain found a message about the ongoing beta test of the project. However, the page content was obscured. Following media enquiries, the site became inaccessible and Lidl declined to respond to further questioning. 
Rumours that Lidl was planning to go online in Poland have been swirling for several months and there can be no question the discounter is looking for appropriate staff. We would expect the platform to follow the already launched portals in the likes of Belgium, Spain, Czech Republic and the Netherlands. (www.kantarretailiq.com)
