Italian company Epta acquires Daas International | Progresiv
Italian company Epta SpA, specialized in the commercial refrigeration industry, becomes the majority associate of the Daas International Group. 
Epta SpA, based in Milan, has 5,000 employees, 11 factories and 40 worldwide sales and service offices, with a turnover of 888 million euros last year.
"This agreement will enable us to grow together and become even more competitive, mutually benefiting each of us. Our goal is to deliver key-ready projects in Romania due to the wide range of advanced and sustainable technology solutions. At the same time we want to offer improved customer support at local level at each stage of the project", said Marco Nocivelli, President and General Director of Epta.
Present on the local market since 1993, Daas has a team of 200 employees with engineering, project management, assembly and after-sales service in the commercial and industrial refrigeration industry and HoReCa, with 25 years of experience on the Romanian market and on foreign markets such as Germany, Austria, Greece, Belgium, Ivory Coast. The company ended last year with a turnover of 40 million euros.
The transaction is awaiting the approval of the Competition Council.
