Farmec enters eMAG platform, aims for expansion in Poland and Bulgaria | Progresiv
Farmec, the largest Romanian cosmetics producer, has become an eMAG partner since December 2018 by listing the cosmetics offer on the eMAG Marketplace platform. 
On the eMAG Marketplace platform are listed Gerovital Beauty, Gerovital Luxury, Gerovital Premium Care and Gerovital Derma+ ranges.
"We are delighted with this new collaboration, which we intend to develop. In 2019, Farmec and Gerovital products will be listed on eMAG Bulgaria and Poland Marketplace. We want to access new outlets, because the sector we represent is very competitive, but is in full swing", said Codrean Pop, Farmec Sales Director.
eMAG Marketplace supports over 14,500 companies, giving them access to a market of over 500,000 unique visitors every day.
In January 2019, Farmec's brand stores chain comprises of 8 Farmec stores located in Cluj-Napoca (3 stores), Arad, Brasov, Sibiu, Targu-Mures and Timisoara and 18 Gerovital stores in Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest (5 stores), Constanta, Timisoara, Craiova, Ploiesti, Suceava, Iasi, Piatra Neamt, Galati, Oradea and Ramnicu Valcea.
According to the latest available financial data, Farmec ended the first half of 2018 with a turnover of 116 million lei (about 25 million euros), reporting a 10% increase over the same period in 2017. At the start of business in the first half of 2018, sales in the online brand store chain grew by 67% and online store sales were up by 16% compared to the same period last year.
