Previously, Ivan was Managing Director and National Sales Director at Bunzl and took sales and management roles at Wrigley Romania, Unilever and Diversey, part of SealedAir group.
"After more than 20 years of managerial experience in sales, marketing and supply chain, I enjoy the tremendous opportunity to contribute to Chep's business and the development of the distribution market. I will focus, together with my colleagues, on the real needs of the market, on innovation and on facilitating the process of switching to the circular economy in the supply chain industry", said Gabriel Ivan.
Romania is one of the fastest-growing markets in the logistics group, with a record growth rate in the European network over the past two years. Chep Romania's portfolio includes over 200 Romanian and international companies in the consumer goods industry, for which over 4.7 million re-usable pallet flows have been issued in the last fiscal year to reduce costs and environmental impact. The company operates through two warehouses, in Ploiesti and Timisoara and a network of 1,200 national delivery points.
