Two biocides produced by Gerocossen, pending for approval | Progresiv
Gerocossen announces that it is in the process of approving two biocidal products for human hygiene after it has already launched a hand sanitizing gel with alcohol.
The Romanian producer of cosmetic products with a 30-year tradition will adapt a part of the production process so that it can manufacture sanitation products, disinfectants and biocidal products, in the context of the coronavirus pandemic.
Stanca Cismaru, General Director of Gerocossen, argues that, at this moment, the company has the technology, logistics and specialists with which the manufacture of biocidal products is ensured.
After endorsing the two biocidal products for human hygiene, Gerocossen will take the necessary steps to approve other biocides needed in other fields of activity.
Regarding the gel for the hand hygiene already launched, the company declares that it works to increase the production capacity so that there is a maximum availability of the product.
Gerocossen is a Romanian company, founded 30 years ago by three local entrepreneurs, Stanca Cismaru, Elvira Sas and Radu Aurel Bogdan, with a background in the cosmetics industry. The products made in the Pipera factory are sold in hypermarkets, supermarkets, specialty shops, pharmacy chains, as well as in the dedicated online store.
