Vascar, one of the main producers of meat and canned goods, reported a turnover of approximately 20.5 million euros in 2019, marking an increase of 13% compared to the previous year.
"This year we also managed to maintain an upward trend for our core business, the cold cuts and canned categories, the largest increase in volume being recorded by the canned category, + 30%. For us it is a proof of the fact that the Moldova in Bucate and Vascar brands have become the first choices for many Romanians, a fact that we enjoy and encourages us to continue to be innovative and to create unique products”, says Vlad Ciuburciu, General Director Vascar.
For this year, the producer targets a significant increase in turnover, the continuation of the investments started last year, the expansion of the 100% natural product portfolio and the opening of at least three new stores in the region of Moldova.
Thus, this year's investment budget is 1 million euros, an amount allocated mainly to increase production capacity, modernize the factory and expand the infrastructure.
