UK: Carlsberg expands male grooming range | Progresiv
Carlsberg has expanded its male grooming range, with a new limited edition ‘Beer’d Beauty’ range, the proceeds of which will go towards the Movember Foundation. The new range consists of a shaving gel, aftershave cream and moustache cream (RRP 40 pounds for the set), and has been developed together with scientists from the Carlsberg Laboratories in Denmark. 
Each product 200ml of freeze-dried, powdered beer, which Carlsberg claims “has been found to contain antioxidants, natural oils and antibacterial acids – said to be perfect ingredients for keeping facial hair in great condition throughout the winter months”.
To mark the launch, Carlsberg has teamed up with Ted’s Grooming Room to throw shave-off events across London on 31 October. Men can visit one of Ted’s nine Grooming Room locations in the city between 10am and 6pm, pay 99p for a professional shave worth 22.50 pounds, and receive a complimentary Carlsberg.
The global proceeds of the range will be handed over to the Foundation, which supports four key areas – prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and physical inactivity. (www.kamcity.com)
