ʺThis year was a record year for FrieslandCampina Romania and for the Napolact brand. This made me look back at all that I have accomplished in this company, not only the 4 years of management, but all the almost 9 years spent together with a wonderful team. The key to the success of this period was growth. We have developed as an organization, we have grown the Napolact brand to a level that many did not believe in, we have invested in the organic dairy segment, contributing significantly to the growth of the category”, says Cornel Cărămizaru, Managing Director of FrieslandCampina Romania.

In 2016 he was appointed Managing Director, being the first Romanian to manage FrieslandCampina Romania. Under his guidance, Napolact became the number 1 brand in dairy products (according to Nielsen retail audit), the company had a spectacular recovery, moving on to profit a year from the beginning of the mandate, invested in the production line from Cluj and launched the support program for farmers, ʺFarmers 2 Farmersʺ.

In his capacity as Managing Director of Iberia, Cornel Caramizaru will coordinate the activity of FrieslandCampina in Spain and Portugal.

FrieslandCampina Romania is part of the Dutch company Royal FrieslandCampina, an organization that ranks among the world's largest dairy producers. FrieslandCampina is present on the Romanian market with the brands Napolact, Frico, Milli, Oke and Dots and offers a wide range of products: consumption milk, yogurt, cheese, butter and milk-based snacks.
