Sole Mizo business, strong growth in 2018 | Progresiv
Sole Mizo Romania, part of the Hungarian group with the same name, ended 2018 with a turnover of 147.5 million lei, up by 38% compared to 2017 and 48% compared to 2013, the year with the first official reporting to the Ministry of Finance. 
Although Sole Mizo does not have a processing unit in Romania, 2018 was the best business year on the Romanian market. Not the same can be said in terms of profitability, the company reporting a net result of 702,398 lei, below the level of 2017, when the net profit was 944,313 lei.
In 2017, the local business of the company amounted to 99.5 million lei and was reported the best profit since they are present on the Romanian market - 944,313 lei, according to data from the Ministry of Finance.
Sole Mizo is a company owned by Sándor Csányi, the head of OTP Bank and one of the richest people in Hungary, part of the Bonafarm group. The company entered Romania in 2008, and the portfolio includes dairy products under the Sole Mizo brand, but also cold cuts. Since 2013, Sole Mizo has been the exclusive distributor of cold cuts made by Pick Szeged from Hungary.
