A Romanian executive took over the management of Red Bull Japan | Progresiv
Bogdan Garofeanu, who has more than 11 years of experience with Red Bull energy drinks producer, recently took over as Managing Director of the company for its business in Japan. 
Prior to this appointment, the manager led Red Bull operations in Russia for three years. Bogdan Garofeanu also held positions as Regional Marketing Director for Southern Europe, General Manager of Red Bull Romania and Moldova during 2010-2012. The first position in the Red Bull team was Marketing Director Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Bogdan Garofeanu has over 15 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, working for companies like Mars, as manager of the snacks portfolio, and Halewood International (marketing director).
Red Bull Romania ended last year with a turnover of 83.3 million lei last year, up by 11.6% compared to 2017, and a net profit of 4.26 million lei. Worldwide, Red Bull is marketed in 171 countries, with the most important markets being Western Europe and the United States. Last year, the company sold 6.8 billion doses of Red Bull, with the company's turnover rising by 3.8% to 5.54 billion euros.
