ROMANIA: The sales director of FrieslandCampina to take over the company’s management | Progresiv
Cornel Caramizaru, sales director of FrieslandCampina Romania will take over as of January 1st the position of general director of the company. He replaces Jan Willem Kivits who led the company's operations in the past three years and was appointed general director of FrieslandCampina Russia.

Cornel Caramizaru will become the first Romanian manager to lead the local branch of the Dutch company, one of the biggest players on the dairy market in Romania. The manager joined FrieslandCampina Romania in 2011 and has an experience of over 18 years in companies operating in the consumer goods industry. Caramizaru holds an MBA in Marketing and specializes in strategic business management.
FrieslandCampina Romania is part of Dutch group Royal FrieslandCampina and owns brands such as Napolact, Mili, Oke and Campina. Last year the company reported, in Romania, a turnover of 90.2 million euros business and a loss of 9.8 million euros, according to data available on the Ministry of Finance’s website.
