ROMANIA: Over 230 participans at the 13th edition of Trade Round Table | Progresiv
Over 230 people attended on November 15th Trade Round Table conference, the largest business event of the FMCG market in Bucharest, organized by Progresiv at Radisson Blu hotel.
TRT meant a full day of market insights, where the participants were updated on FMCG market developments, shopper behavior, and where they listened to top managers from the industry speaking about current business challenges and about strategy adaptation to the major market changes, such as the digital revolution.
The special guest of this edition, Milos Ryba, Head of Discounter & CEE at IGD – the non-profit organization that brings together global experts in retail & FMCG – presented the European context and some case studies with winning strategies on which retailes made their bets in 2016. He also detailed the factors that will shape the consumer goods market in the coming years.
Last but not least, because 2016 was a very busy year in terms of legislation, Trade Round Table brought together representatives of the authorities with those of various associations of retailers and producers in the discussion panel "Supplier-retailer relationship in the new legislative framework".
