In urban areas, Romanians use on average two toothpaste tubes per year, more than last year when 1.5 tubes were used in a year and change their toothbrush every 1.5 years, more often than previous data which indicated a 2-year period of use/toothbrush.
An increase in the consumption of oral hygiene products was also seen in rural areas, where one person now uses 1 tube of toothpaste every 2.5 years compared to the previous 3 years, as data showed. However, rural Romanians still change their toothbrush only once every 10 years.
