Romania, the most important market for Purcari Wineries | Progresiv
Purcari Wineries producer reported for 2019 revenues of 199 million lei, up by 18% compared to the previous year and a net profit of 44 million lei (+5%), according to the preliminary financial report. 
Of the markets on which it operates, Romania generated the largest part of sales, respectively 81.9 million lei, while in Moldova the producer reported sales of 44 million lei. In third place in the top of the most important markets is Poland, with sales of 20 million lei, followed by Asia, with 11 million lei.
Regarding the segmentation of sales by product categories, the wines generated sales of 165.62 million lei, while the divin and brandy segment - 28.86 million lei, and the hotel and restaurant services reported revenues of 2.6 million lei.
Investors traded shares worth 54 million lei from the beginning of the year, which resulted in a 5% appreciation, the issuer reaching a capitalization of 466 million lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Purcari Wineries holds the Purcari, Crama Ceptura, Bostavan and Bardar brands in its portfolio and is one of the largest wine and brandy groups in Central and Eastern Europe. Starting with February 2018, the company is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
