The British from Marks&Spencer are about to launch their food stores in Romania. The first Marks&Spencer Food unit will be opened in Mega Mall commercial center which will be inaugurated on May 14th in Bucharest, in Pantelimon neighbourhood. 
Marks&Spencer is known on the local market as a clothes retailer, but Romanians who traveled in Western Europe surely noticed the M&S Simply Food stores in airports or train stations. M&S Simply Food retail concept emphasizes on impulse shopping, the assortment mainly consisting of fresh foods or ready-meals.
In Romania, the British group will bring its traditional food retail concept, the Marks&Spencer Food store being set to share the sales area with the Marks&Spencer clothes store within Mega Mall. Most likely, the assortment will focus on premium products, just like in Great Britain.
