ROMANIA: LaColline estimates a 15% rise in sales after the VAT reduction | Progresiv
LaColline goat cheese manufacturer estimates an increase of 15% of the sales after the VAT reduction food products. In addition, the company states that it reduced prices for LaColline products. 
“I think it is a measure that has visible results on short term. Thus, in the next period, more affordable prices will boost our customers’ shopping, resulting in a stimulation of purchases. Therefore, their value could increase by about 15%”, said Ovidiu Spinu, owner of LaColline factory.
The sales growth in the coming period continues the upward trend recorded by LaColline factory. From the beginning of the year until now, the company had a turnover of 1.5 million lei, 5% higher than the same period of last year. Exports still occupy a significant share of the value of that turnover, 40%, the factory having partnerships with many countries in Central Europe.
The goat milk products factory was established in 2007 and is a business with 100% Romanian capital. LaColline products are exported to countries like Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, France and locally are available in the hypermarket chains or in the online store www.lacolline.ro/vanzarionline.
