ROMANIA: FM Logistic to invest 20 million euros in a warehouse for cosmetics | Progresiv
FM Logistic recently organized a ceremony to commence works on the 3rd warehouse in Romania, in Dragomireşti-Ilfov, close to the A1 Bucharest-Pitesti highway. The new FM Logistic investment is estimated at 20 million euros and is scheduled for completion in December 2017. 
The FM Logistic platform next to the A1 Bucharest – Pitesti highway will have two 20,000 square meters cells in the first phase and according to plan, the Dragomiresti warehouse can be expanded up to its maximum capacity of 80,000 sqm.
The FM Logistic in Dragomiresti will serve in this warehouse companies in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical sector, having a 10,000 square meters cell dedicated to pharmaceutical products in which specific investments will be made, according to field regulations.
The company reported a turnover of 24 million euros in the last fiscal year (April 2015-March 2016), has 450 employees and operates three logistics platforms in Romania - Timis area, Bucharest and Dambovita, with 65,000 sq m of storage and 2 cross-docking logistic terminals located in Cluj and Bacau.
FM Logistic operates in six main sectors - food, retail, consumer households and personal care, cosmetics/luxury goods, pharmaceutical, industrial and electronic products, is present in 13 countries, has 21,800 employees and a turnover of 1.034 billion euro reported at 31 March 2016 (an increase of 2.9% over the previous fiscal year).
