ROMANIA: Farmec reported a 13% growth of business in 2015 | Progresiv
Farmec, the most important Romanian cosmetics manufacturer, ended last year with a turnover of 172.5 million lei (38.8 million euros), an increase of over 13% compared to 2014, when the company's turnover was 152 million lei. 
For 2016, the company aims to maintain the same trend of growth of recent years for its sales, enriching its product portfolio with new ranges and opening new stores, both in traditional trade and shopping centers.
To this result contributed the launch of new ranges of products: Gerovital Happiness (cosmetics for face and body that give skin a healthy aspect, full of brightness), Gerovital H3 Derma Sun (innovative range of dermatocosmetics with sunscreen) and Gerovital Treatment Expert (complete hair care range).
Farmec Cluj-Napoca, the largest Romanian cosmetics manufacturer, owns internationally recognized brands including Gerovital H3 prof. dr. Ana Aslan, Gerovital Plant, Aslavital and Farmec. The company's products reach over 30 countries, the main markets being Japan, Hungary, Poland, Moldova, Iraq, Kuwait, Greece, Canada.
