ROMANIA: Bilbor producer, on sale for 5 million euros | Progresiv

Actives of mineral water producer Bilbor Mineral Water, part of the United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB) have been put on sale for 4.98 million euros, without VAT, according to an announcement published on the website of Transilvania Insolvency House (citr.ro).

Thus, CITR, the judicial administrator  of Bilbor Mineral Water Company, put up for sale all the assets of the mineral water producer:

* lands and buildings, special constructions respectively;

* equipment;

* stocks;

* identifiable and unidentifiable intangible assets (trademarks, glass design, mining license, goodwill)

Bilbor Mineral Water was launched in 2010 following an investment of about 10 million euros, and the plant was built in Harghita county, 12 kilometers from Borsec, but in February 2015 became insolvent.

Bilbor Mineral Water reported in 2014 a turnover of 7.37 million lei and a loss of 3 million lei, according to the latest figures available from the Ministry of Finance. The company was founded in 2007, the year of the Bilbor brand launch, active in the mineral water category. The company is owned by URBB shareholders, producer of Tuborg beer.
