ROMANIA: Anca Stroe, promoted in Activia’s international team | Progresiv
The Marketing Director of Danone Romania yoghurt manufacturer, Anca Stroe, was promoted in the team that coordinates Activia brand internationally. The manager will occupy, starting August, the position of Market Strategies & Planning Director for Activia and will work Danone International’s headquarters in Paris. 
Danone Romania representatives did not say who will suceed Anca Stroe as Director of Marketing after her leaving.
With eight years of experience within Danone, Anca Stroe held, from 2012, the position of Marketing Director of the company. She started as Brand Manager for Actimel and Danfruit and in 2009 became Brand Marketing Manager for Activia and Actimel, for both Romania and Moldova. In January 2011, Stoe became Brand Marketing Manager for Romania, Moldova and the Adriatic countries for Nutriday Casa Buna and Cremosso brands.
Danone Romania, yoghurt market leader, reported in 2014 a turnover of 456 million lei (102 million euros), down by 5% compared to the previous year.
The Danone factory in Bucharest annually processes about 50 million liters of milk and works for both the Romanian market and for other countries in Europe. Since entering the Romanian market, Danone has invested over 340 million lei in the local operations.
