Mondelez announces 65 million dollars investment in R&D hubs | Progresiv
Mondelez International has announced plans to invest 65 million dollars on creating a global network of Research, Development & Quality (RDQ) hubs.
Over the next two years, the company will focus on nine technical centres – Curitiba (Brazil), Mexico City (Mexico), East Hanover (US), Bournville and Reading (UK), Wroclaw (Poland), Thane (India), Suzhou (China), and Jurong (Singapore).
Three of the centres are already operational, with work set to begin on two others by end-2016, one centre opening in 2016, and the remainder opening in 2018.
Mondelez said the completed network will consist of a combination of new and existing technical centres that will be more flexible in responding to its growth and innovation needs. Additionally, they will also help it to better recruit, retain and develop talent while also creating a stronger presence in both emerging and developed markets. (www.kamcity.com)
