Metro Ukraine to refurbish all its stores | Progresiv
Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine has announced plans to refurbish all of its stores. The new improved format is tested in two stores in Kiev and Poltava starting 5 November 2016. Metro plans to refurbish all of its stores by 2020 at a pace of 5-6 stores annually. 
The retailer plans to improve the arrangement and the presentation of products and expand its services. Metro Café represents one of the additional services, which provides a fast food menu and hot drinks.
Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine has also announced its plans to open a store-in-store concept called F'91 in partnership with Ukrainian clothing manufacturer Arber Fashion Group (AFG).
The retailer plans to operate 23 concept stores by the end of 2017. The first 5 stores are expected to open in Kiev and Poltava in November 2016. AFG operates 110 stores in Ukraine under the ‘Arber’, ‘Gregory Arber’, ‘Kokon’ and ‘F’91’ banners. (www.kantarretailiq.com)
