Lidl Poland ready to roll out Lidl Pay within weeks | Progresiv
Lidl Poland announced that its Lidl Pay cashless payment services are being tested by company employees and their families in nearly 200 stores in Poland. Soon the solution will be made available to customers throughout the country.
Lidl Pay is a new functionality dedicated to users of the Lidl Plus application that allows customers to save time at the cash register by adding a payment card to the application. As a result, by scanning the Lidl Plus card with a reader in the checkout area, discounts are calculated and payment is made simultaneously. This functionality will only be available to users of the Lidl Plus application. To use this type of payment, customers will need to define a PIN or fingerprint (touch ID) and then add a payment card.
The implementation of Lidl Pay for customers will be the next step that the chain will make to improve the safety of customers and employees in stores.
Lidl Pay will eliminate the need to enter PIN numbers and can now be used for contactless payments of up to 100 zlots after the limit was raised from 50 zlots earlier this month. (www.wiadomoscihandlowe.pl)
