Lidl to open a pop-up restaurant in Constanta | Progresiv
German retailer Lidl will open in Constanta a pop-up restaurant called La Iordache. The restaurant will be opened in Tomis Harbour, between 27-31 July, the project serving to promote Camara Noastra (Our Pantry), Lidl’s private label, specialized in traditional Romanian products.
The access within the restaurant is based on enrollment on surprize.lidl.ro/camaranoastra site, where Lidl customers can make a reservation for free. Also, they can come accompanied by two, three or four close people.
Constanta is the third city in the country where Lidl opens a pop-up restaurant. In March, the retailer opened in Bucharest’s Old Town the La Iordache restaurant for five days and in May the restaurant was opened in Cluj-Napoca, the access being made also by registration.
Lidl Romania owns a chain of 195 discount stores, the latest opening being in Targu Mures, in May this year. Lidl Romania ended last year with a turnover of 4.49 billion lei (1.01 billion euros) and a profit of 171 million lei, up by 286% compared to 2014.
