Konzum opens new store concept in Bosnia and Herzegovina | Progresiv
Konzum has launched a new store concept under the ‘Super Konzum Borik‘ banner in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The store, which sells over 35,000 products and 5,000 innovations, has seen a 2.5 million kuna (331,000 euros) refurbishment. The retailer has previously implemented similar store concepts in Zagreb and Ljubljana. 
The upgraded store features smart shopping carts where customers see discounted products and special offers, localize products and check prices, and monitor the content and the value of the cart. The assortment is focused on fresh, eco groceries, tropical fruits and international cuisine. It has an improved bakery area that enables customers to see how pastries are baked in specialized ovens, a delicatessen department that offers a selection of 120 types of cheese and dry meats and an alcohol section made-up of 70 wine houses from all over the world and more than 100 different types of craft beers from 13 countries.
