Carrefour Italy will increase the use of digital solutions along shopper path to purchase according to Debora Guma, Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Carrefour Italy. MyCarrefour App has been revamped and will include a personalized promotional component and the ‘Clicca & Ritira’ in-store-collection and home delivery service has been improved. 
Gradually offer free wi-fi for shoppers throughout the store chain and expand digitally enhanced information tools to help shoppers get instant information on products.
Digital displays will gradually be implemented as the standard communication medium and not just for advertisements.
Carrefour Italy has recently made Digital an important point on its strategic agenda, in line with the global digital push the retailer has undertaken.
