Farmec invested 50,000 euros in the second Gerovital store opened in franchise | Progresiv
Farmec, the largest Romanian cosmetics producer, continues the company's expansion strategy by opening a new Gerovital store in the franchise system, six months after the official launch of the project.
With an area of 36 square meters, the Gerovital store is located in the Vivo Pitesti commercial center, located on Calea București no. 36. The total amount invested in the design and development of the new space is 50,000 euros, which includes the franchise tax. The new space complements the chain of 28 currently owned locations.
"We are pleased that the franchise system, launched in June this year, is a real interest for those who are or want to become entrepreneurs and want to invest in a 100% Romanian business", said Mircea Turdean, General Director of Farmec.
The first Gerovital store in the franchise was opened in June in Bacau, following a similar investment.
In December 2019, Farmec's chain of brand stores comprises 8 Farmec stores, located in Cluj-Napoca, Arad, Brasov, Sibiu, Targu-Mures and Timisoara, 20 Gerovital stores located in Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Constanta, Timisoara, Craiova, Ploiesti, Suceava, Iasi, Piatra Neamt, Galati, Oradea, Sibiu and Ramnicu Valcea and 2 Gerovital stores opened through the franchise system, in Bacau and Pitesti.
In 2018 Farmec posted a turnover of 236.5 million lei and a net profit of 9.21 million lei, according to the latest financial data provided by the Ministry of Finance.
