From the position of Central Europe Franchise Director, Nicoleta Eftimiu will coordinate, starting this fall, the company's activities in the 6 countries of the region: Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, continuing the company's development strategy. The promotion of Nicoleta Eftimiu comes as a result of the exceptional results obtained after only two years and nine months spent at the management of local operations, being the first woman to hold the position of Country Manager Coca-Cola Romania.

The mandate in Romania will be taken over by Paris Nikolopoulos, who previously held the position of Franchise Country Manager for Coca-Cola Switzerland. Paris comes with 15 years of experience in the Coca-Cola System and will continue to support the company's global visions, focusing on identifying new opportunities to diversify the product portfolio, continuing the company's sustainability policy, but also on the professional development of the team.

“Romania is one of the most important markets for the Coca-Cola System, with a fast development and many innovative, successful ideas regarding the product portfolio and marketing strategies. It is an honor for me to take over the management of Coca-Cola Romania and to work with a team as talented and enthusiastic as the one here. For me, this new position is a great opportunity to get to know a market as interesting and vast as the Romanian one. We will continue the strategy of product innovation and we will remain strongly involved in the community, in accordance with our philosophy of having a positive impact in the countries where we operate”, said Paris Nikolopoulos, the new Franchise Country Manager, Coca-Cola Romania.

Paris Nikolopoulos has an extensive experience in the Coca-Cola System, where she has held, for the last 15 years, both local and regional positions. Between 2004 and 2013 he worked at Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland, the last position held within the organization being that of Chief Financial Officer. In 2013 he joined Coca-Cola Company, Central Europe division, as Commercial Finance Director, and in March 2016 he expanded his responsibilities, being promoted to the position of Franchise Country Manager Switzerland.

Paris Nikolopoulos studied economics at the University of Piraeus and holds a Master of Science degree from Lancaster University. Over time, she has participated in leadership and management programs at London Business School and Harvard Business School.

Coca-Cola has over 500 brands in its portfolio, distributed in over 200 countries. The cumulative value of its brands is estimated at 20 billion dollars. In Romania, the Coca-Cola System is made up of Coca-Cola Romania (a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company, the owner of registered trademarks) and its partner, Coca-Cola HBC Romania, which bottles and distributes Coca-Cola products under Coca- Cola Company license in Romania.
