Carrefour Poland aims to develop and improve its omnichannel effectiveness by offering a combination of physical and online store experience to customers. The retailer aims to increase the competitiveness of its largest stores and reinforce its position in the local retail market by developing high-quality production of private label brands and offer these products to as many stores as possible under the omnichannel model.
Carrefour aims to shorten the supply chain and offer SKUs at a reasonable price by installing production centres in the unused selling space of large stores. Currently, bread, smoked meats and smoked fish are produced in Carrefour Polska production centres. The bakery division of Carrefour operates out of 10 of the largest Carrefour hypermarkets in Poland.
