Carrefour France teams with Waze to improve Drive customer experience | Progresiv
Carrefour France has announced a partnership with Waze, a GPS navigation application, at the One-to-One Retail E-Commerce Monaco show that took place between 19-21 March 2019. Carrefour Drive customers can now choose a specific time slot to collect items ordered.
Waze will collect GPS data of customers, track their real-time location and accordingly notify customers via push notification when the order is ready for pickup. Waze will also notify the retailer about customers’ arrival. The new initiative will improve optimal delivery time and improve coordination between the retailer and customers.
Waze will be deployed in 5 or 6 drives from May 2019 where customers can access the new services using the Waze application downloaded on their smartphones. (www.kantarretailiq.com)
