Carrefour France deploys virtual reality campaign in hypermarkets | Progresiv
Carrefour France has launched a marketing campaign that familiarizes shoppers with virtual reality (VR) products as part of its Carrefour Month multi-channel campaign.
The campaign takes place in all hypermarkets between 6th September and 3rd October 2016.
Shoppers can learn about VR glasses technology with 175,000 cardboard viewers priced at 3 euros each. Starting 4 October 2016 the view price changes to 10 euros each.
The campaign aims at informing shoppers on the promotions rolled out in stores and on carrefour.fr through their own VR glasses and VR smartphone app.
Using the dedicated app, customers learn about the applied promotions in hygiene and beauty products, grocery and natural products, hi-tech and multimedia products and household appliances.
During Carrefour Month, products are discounted up to 70% with the Carrefour Loyalty card and 80% for major brand items. (www.kantarretailiq.com)
