Carrefour continues the national expansion of its Bringo service | Progresiv
French retailer Carrefour has expanded its Bringo service to 5 other cities in the country, with the platform now being used by consumers in 23 cities. Thus, Bringo is now available in Oradea, Satu Mare, Baia Mare, Roman and Ramnicu Valcea. This is the second stage of extending the Bringo service nationwide this year, at the beginning of 2019 Bringo being available in just 13 cities.
Bringo was launched in the market in 2016 and is an integrated platform that includes a customer application, a delivery system and a back system that coordinates everything. This way, customers can choose from where they want to buy a product, place the order, which is immediately allocated to the vendors who may be within one kilometer of the commercial unit. Shopping is paid at home and the transport fee is 19.99 lei.
Carrefour became the majority shareholder of Bringo in 2017, and through the app, the retailer offers customers the ability to shop in over 20 stores, delivering in 90 minutes.
