Auchan launches first myAuchan store in France | Progresiv
Auchan has opened its first ‘myAuchan’ convenience store in Paris, France. The store replaces a former 300 square meter ‘A2Pas’ with the aim of offering shoppers a reinvented, innovative, multichannel format.
The store groups a tailored 5,500 SKUs assortment of regular and premium products along with an improved customer service and a dining corner (including a fresh orange juice machine, a Nespresso coffee machine, a chicken rotisserie, a microwave oven and free wi-fi).
The store is fitted with digital kiosks enabling shoppers to access Auchan’s online offer and also acts as a collection point for online orders.
The brand convergence strategy was initially announced in September 2016 when Auchan also revealed its intention to rebrand hypermarkets by using their local internet domain in the store logo. While the Paris store is a first for France, the conversion to the new brand identity has already been initiated in Russia where the first Auchan Supermarket and myAuchan stores emerged in the past few months.
