"Last year we continued to expand and had very good results businesswise. The Romanian market continues to show good potential for expansion, not just in terms in stores but also for building our fourth logistics center. We started this year with challenges never seen before, but we look with optimism to the months ahead and hope to achieve our objectives, to create new jobs, and to serve as many satissfied customers as possible," Daniel Gros, General Manager Penny Market Romania said.
Penny Market entered the local market in 2005, with a purchasing strategy focused on regional producers. Currently, 80% of suppliers are Romanian. The store network is served by three logistic centers in Ștefăneștii de Jos, Turda, and Bacău.
