Online store Auchan.ro will offer customers a new delivery option through a partnership with the Romanian postal services. With this agreement, Auchan will integrate the door-to-door delivery offered by the postal services with its app.
The service will initially be available in the city of Suceava and surrounding urban areas, but Auchan says it will gradually extend it nationwide. Customers will be able to order food and non-food products with a total weight of 30 kilograms, having the option to track the delivery through the Track&Trace system.
"The agreement we have with the Romanian postal service is highly appreciated and comes as we have accelerated Auchan's ecommerce activity. We have extended the offer available on our online store, introduced and standardized new products, we work with more suppliers, and have put in place a customer service to answer the increased demand we have seen lately," Tiberiu Dănețiu, Marketing Director of Auchan Retail Romania said.
Auchan currently operates 33 hypermarkets, 2 supermarkets, and 24 proximity stores under MyAuchan brand.
