Without compromising on beauty boosting results, consumers will be feeling good and looking good.
Love Beauty and Planet has carefully configured its ingredients and packaging throughout the entire product cycle to reduce its environmental impact. The range of hair, face and body care products come in several variants: Murumuru Butter & Rose, Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower and Coconut Oil & Ylang Ylang.
With sustainability becoming an increasingly dominant focus for UK consumers to invest in, more people care about their impact on the environment and the ingredients in the products they purchase. The new beauty brand seeks to target consumers who currently shop the natural beauty fixtures and specialist shops, in hope to convert them to the grocery and high street channels, and drive penetration of more natural beauty products.
Love Beauty and Planet will always be honest about its impact on the planet. As part of that commitment, the brand will not only disclose its annual carbon footprint annually but work towards a goal to reduce its carbon footprint by 20 percent by 2020.
To remain accountable for its carbon emissions, Love Beauty and Planet will put a tax on the carbon the brand emits while making its products – contributing to a Carbon Tax Fund. This fund will be used to support programmes that help to reduce carbon emissions and landfill waste, all aimed at reducing impact and creating a positive change for the planet.
