Superfood Company, an importer and distributor of baby products, estimates a 5% increase in organic products for children up to 3 years of age. The total value of the organic food market for infants and young children is currently around 7.5 million euros, as estimated by the company's representatives.
Also, the total food market for infants and young children rose last year to about 50 million euros, according to company representatives.
"Romanians’ appeal towards healthy products in recent times can only make us happy. It is a global trend that has begun to be felt locally as well. It is essential to provide children with a diet perfectly suited to their needs, starting with the diversification period", said Daniel Daraban, General Director of Superfood Company.

In 2017, Organix grew by 20%, and estimates for 2018 aim to continue the upward trend, with an increase of about 10%, taking into account the current market dynamics.
