ROMANIA: Agroserv Mariuta allocates 5 million in the production of Laptaria cu Caimac brand | Progresiv
Agroserv Mariuta, a 100% Romanian dairy producer, invests over 5 million euros in a production plant in Dragoesti, Ialomita County. The processing factory for Laptaria cu Caimac has 1,517 square meters and is across the farm. To begin with, under the Laptaria cu Caimac brand will be produced again milk with caimac, bottled in 1 liter bottles, and the products will be distributed in Mega Image stores in Bucharest.
The development includes a total of six production lines functional by the end of 2018, and soon, alongside the milk bottles, other products of the Laptaria cu Caimac will reach the shelves, such as natural yoghurt, fresh cow curd, and dry curd.
"The plans to open the dairy (the processing plant) were born naturally, both because of the continuous development of our farm and our desire to continue our family business, but also because of the desire to consume healthy, natural and tasty products, which they manage to combine what nature offers us with modern means of production. This does not mean that the Laptaria cu Caimac products are 100% as they were once, but not 100% of what they are being done now, but we have assumed the task of getting the best from both tradition and present, but especially from milk, that is, the caimac which is an additional proof of quality, of natural milk and taste", said Madalina Cocan, manager of Laptaria cu Caimac.
The caimac milk is found on shelves in glass bottles, being a non-standardized whole milk with a variable fat content between 3.8% and 4.1%. The shelf life will be 14 days, lower than the usual one.
Laptaria cu Caimac farm is one of the largest dairy farms in Romania, established 24 years ago, currently reaching approximately 2,600 Holstein Friesian cows, of which 950 are milking cows. For over 10 years, the farm has been delivering raw, bulk milk to the big processors in Romania, and in recent years also in Bulgaria, with daily deliveries of over 25,000 liters of milk.
