REGION: Agrokor to be managed by new holding company | Progresiv
The debt-laden Agrokor food and retail group creditors have decided to take over the control of the group via three legal entities based in Netherlands. Company is undergoing restructuring after the debt crisis in 2016. A Croatian holding company based in Zagreb will oversee company’s operational management and ownership control both in Croatia and abroad. 
Former Agrokor owner, Ivica Todoric will not be in the group’s ownership structure.
New companies, STAK, NizTopCo, NizHoldCo and HoldCo will make up Agrokor’s management structure.
STAK – Creditors will take over the control of the new group through this company and it will be the formal owner of the entire new group.
NizTopCo – STAK will issue the creditors with depository receipts on its ownership of the stakes it holds in NizTopCo, and the creditors will exercise their management rights in that company by giving instructions to STAK.
NizHoldCo – NizTopCo will be the owner of NizHoldCo, a Dutch company which will be the owner of HrvHoldCo. HrvHoldCo will be the parent company of all the operating companies.
