Over 6 million euros invested by Pall-Ex in a logistic hub in Sibiu | Progresiv

Pall-Ex Romania, the leader of the express freight transport and distribution market, inaugurated in Sibiu a modern logistics hub with an area of ​​6,000 square meters and 24 gates, through which more than one million pallets can pass annually.

"The project is a major one for Pall-Ex Romania, the total investment in the design, construction and endowment of the terminal at the highest standards in the field exceeding 6 million euros. The benefits of the new company terminal and, most importantly, will be visible to its customers from the first month of operation: the capacity increases from 2,000 to 3,500 pallets per night and the truck loading and unloading time drops from 7 to 5 hours", according to the company's press release.

According to its representatives, the new cross dock is the most modern hub of Pall-Ex in Europe. The headquarters of Pall-Ex Romania were moved to the same location.

Pall-Ex delivers palletized goods in 24-48 hours across Romania, working within a network of local carriers and distributors, and having 38 locations in the country.

Since its launch in Romania in 2011, Pall-Ex has transported more than 2 million pallets nationwide and aims that, with the launch of the new hub, it will reach more than 2.7 million pallets by the end of 2019.
