Nicoleta Eftimiu, the new Country Manager of Coca-Cola Romania and Moldova | Progresiv
As of January 2017, Coca-Cola promotes its Marketing Director to lead operations in Romania and Moldova.
Nicoleta Eftimiu thus becomes the new Franchise Country Manager, which is the highest position in the company's organizational structure for Southeast Europe countries. In addition, she is the first woman appointed to lead Coca-Cola operations in the two regions.
"I'm in constant competition with myself: I have never stopped at one thing, I like to discover what lies beyond >, to experiment. This applies both professionally and personally. And this is the belief I start with in my new journey, I see myself continually raising the bar, be it the strengthening and development of team, be it innovation. On this I bet the evolution of our business", says Nicoleta Eftimiu.
She began her career in the position of Account Director for Coca-Cola brand, and then joined Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Romania in the Category Manager Stills and New Business position. This allowed her to gain knowledge on the distribution and direct marketing.
Coca-Cola is the largest global player in the soft drinks industry with over 500 brands in its portfolio, distributed in over 200 countries. The aggregate value of its brands is estimated at 20 billion dollars.
In Romania, the Coca-Cola system consists of Coca-Cola Romania (subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company, owner of the trademark) and its partner, Coca-Cola Hellenic (CCH) Romania - the company that bottles and distributes Coca-Cola products under The Coca-Cola Company license in Romania.
