Management changes for Reckitt Benckiser Romania | Progresiv
Reckitt Benckiser named Cristina Andrei at the beginning of this year as Country Manager for the Hygiene & Home Division in Romania, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova. Cristina Andrei is part of Reckitt Benckiser team for 13 years, previously occupying the position of Sales Director. Her appointment comes in the context of the reorganizing process of the company into two distinct divisions: health and hygiene-home.
The Health Division will be led by Magiary Lajos, responsible for the markets in Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Hungary and the West Balkans Region.
Prior to these changes, Reckitt Benckiser Romania was managed by the Italian Enrico Marchelli, who was named Regional Director Italy, Greece and Israel for the hygiene-home division.
Reckitt Benckiser Romania is part of the British consumer goods manufacturer Reckitt Benckiser. At the end of last year, the producer underwent a reorganization process through which the company created two separate business platforms in a bid to generate lasting long-term performance. The Hygiene & Home division includes the Air Wick, Vanish, Calgon, Cillit Bang and Finish brands, while the rest of the brands (including Durex, Dettol, Veet and Scholl) have been assigned to the Health Division. According to the most recent financial reports, the company reported a turnover of 407.25 million lei and a profit of 17.94 million lei.
More details about the reorganization of Reckitt Benckiser Romania and about the plans for 2018 can be found in a broad interview with Cristina Andrei in the March edition of the Progressive magazine.
