Management change for Beiersdorf Romania | Progresiv
As of September, Fatih Alpaslan was appointed at Beiersdorf’s management in Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova. The manager replaces Bedros Kalfayan, who has run the manufacturer's operations in the three markets over the past five years. 
Fatih Alpaslan previously was Sales Director at Beiersdorf Turkey. In fact, the Turkish manager has about 20 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, Yildiv Holding, British American Tobacco and Procter & Gamble being among the companies he worked.
German company Beiersdorf has been present on the Romanian market since 1999, with brands such as Nivea and Eucerin. Last year, Beiersdorf Romania reported revenues of 237.8 million lei (over 52 million euros), up by 10% over the previous year. In terms of profit, the manufacturer reported a net result of 14.3 million lei (3.1 million euros), up by 21% from 2015.
